For video editing, here is the process I am going to edit my videos which use this video as a reference.
(I have asked some people's advice, and choose the simpliest way to do it)
Software:Premiere Pro
Main steps this video is to first listen to the audio of the clip- highlight (keep on the timeline) which one I will use and take away the ones that are not needed completely from the working timeline - it will become very confusing if I leave it in at the side(Do not look at video when doing this) - to make sure the story/idea/important facts will be heard.
Then look at the video that is together with the sound to see if it is also useable. If its not useable, possibly look at different clips/videos of the same moment.
Add effects to clips or transitional effects if I want, there is already templates that I can use that is already inside Premiere Pro for this. Be careful on using these effects as it can not look like unprofessional (careful for editing).
This was from the student who is study filming:
BEST THING TO DO
listen or watch the clip into the top left section of premiere pro. It doesn’t go to your main timeline. When you drag the clip, there will be SMALLER timeline of the CLIP at the bottom of it`. You can simply highlight a piece of it and can select whether you want to ONLY pick SOUND OR THE VIDEO to drag into the MAIN timeline where you combine everything to make your video.
THINGS YOU SHOULD DO T
Label all of the clips with what they are.
MAKE SURE THAT YOU ORGANISE ALL OF THE CLIPS INTO BINS (THIS IS BASICALLY FOLDERS IN PREMIERE)- ILL BE UPSET IF YOU DONT DO. It is found at the bottom left section of premiere - Your work rate will become really slow if you do not do this - SERIOUSLY
NEVER OVERLAP DIALOGUE SOUNDTRACKS that are INTERVIEWS.
CAMERA ANGLES
Mid wide shot (from waist to the top head)
Mid close up ( chest to the top of head)
Extreme close up (headshot)
